How It Works – Step-by-Step
 
Using the DDG Portable Hydrobath is simple, efficient, and adaptable to different coat types. Follow these steps for the best results:
1️⃣ Fill the Bath with Water – Add only the amount of water needed. There is a marking on the pump that indicates the optimal water level for the best performance.
2️⃣ Add Shampoo – Pour in 15-30mL of shampoo, depending on the size of the dog and the coat type. The circulating water will evenly distribute the shampoo throughout the coat for a deep, thorough clean.
3️⃣ Activate the System – Step on the foot pedal to start the pump and use the shower nozzle to wash the dog. The water-and-shampoo mix will be forced deep into the coat, loosening dirt, oils, and dead skin.
4️⃣ Deshedding (If Needed) – If the dog requires a deshed, switch to the DDG Deshed Nozzle. This nozzle is designed to flush out loose undercoat efficiently, helping to remove a large portion of shedding hair during the first wash. If deshedding isn’t needed, you can skip this step.
5️⃣ Drain the Tub, Rinse the Dog with Clean Water, and Fill the Tub Again for the Second Wash. If a second wash is needed, add shampoo and repeat the washing process with the shower nozzle and/or deshed nozzle as needed.
6️⃣ Conditioning (If Desired) – If applying conditioner, refill the tub, add conditioner, and run it through the coat using the shower nozzle. You can either:
Leave the conditioner in for added coat nourishment.
Drain the tub and rinse again to remove excess conditioner.
